KARACHI: Kishmala Talat, a shooter, has qualified for the next Olympic Games in Paris.
Kishmala had won an Asian Games bronze medal. She performed admirably in the women’s 10-meter air pistol Asian Shooting Championship, which was held in Jakarta.
Kishmala qualified for the finals with a score of 575 points in the first round. She faced up against Eshs Singh of India for the gold medal in the final round, showcasing her extraordinary expertise. Kishmala secured a quota berth and the silver medal for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Razi Ahmed Khan, secretary of the Pakistan Shooting Federation, confirmed Kishmala’s accomplishment by saying that she had been able to get a spot in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Kishmala has joined Gulfam Joseph and GM Bashir as the third Pakistani shooter to earn an Olympic berth.
