Rawalpindi: Ambassador of Belarus H.E Andrei Metelitsa called on Minister of Defense and Defense Production Khawaja Mohammad Asif.
The federal minister welcomed the ambassador and appreciated the existing goodwill and bilateral cooperation. Belarus is an important country and Pakistan attaches great importance to bilateral relations with Belarus.
Issues of interest to each other, especially cooperation in the field of defense production, were discussed.
The Defense Minister said that the high-level visit between the two countries has greatly contributed to strengthening bilateral relations. The federal minister also said that Pakistan and Belarus have a history of bilateral relations in the fields of economy, trade and defence. The Minister stated that it is necessary to develop the existing level of cooperation between the two countries.
