Islamabad: The National Security Committee met under caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar to discuss national security issues.
The forum conducted a thorough analysis of the situation and praised the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their professional, calibrated, and proportionate response to unwarranted and unlawful violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
During the conference, attendees were updated on political and diplomatic developments affecting the current situation between Pakistan and Iran, as well as their impact on the regional security environment. The Forum also reviewed the ‘Operation Marg Bar Sarmachar’, which was effectively carried out against Pakistani-born Baloch militants living in ungoverned areas of Iran.
