ISLAMABAD: As the Israeli assault on the besieged enclave approaches its 100th day, Pakistan sent out its fourth aid shipment on Sunday, which included 20 tons of food and medical supplies.
The relief arrived in Jordan on Sunday via a special flight, where it was accepted by the Jordanian Chief of Air Staff and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Jordan for subsequent distribution to Gaza’s impacted populace.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) announced the delivery of the relief commodities on X (previously Twitter), underlining the continuous dedication of the people of Pakistan to support those enduring the grave impacts of the conflict.
Jordan received the fourth shipment from the people, which included 20 tons of food and medical supplies.
Concerns about a possible regional escalation of the war are growing as it continues. Speaking about the situation on its 100th day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “No one will stop us” from taking down Hamas and promised to keep going until he achieved victory. A humanitarian crisis has arisen in the region as a result of the Israeli bombardment, which has claimed the lives of almost 24,000 people, the majority of whom are women and children.
International reactions to the fighting have been inconsistent; new attacks in support of Gaza have targeted Huthis in Yemen. Targeting a Huthi radar site was reported by the US Central Command, and the Israeli promise to overthrow Gaza’s authorities raises questions about the aggression’s potential consequences.
