Islamabad – The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) is pleased to announce the completion of the transformative two-week calligraphy course, “A Calligraphic Journey,” led by renowned calligrapher Mr. Nasir Khan Seemab. This class, hosted by the Federal Minister of National Heritage and Culture Development, Mr. Jamal Shah, was a stunning investigation of the delicate art of calligraphy.
The Closing Ceremony, Exhibition, and Certificate Distribution were held at the National Art Gallery, Islamabad’s Gallery No. 3, highlighting the remarkable works of the bright Madrassa students who participated in this intensive program.

The two-week program, led by Mr. Nasir Khan Seemab, presented a rare opportunity for Madrassa students to delve into the vast world of calligraphy, examining various styles and historical backgrounds. The exhibition showcased the culmination of their artistic attempts, emphasizing the abilities and creativity developed during this intensive learning program.
Federal Minister Mr. Jamal Shah, under whose patronage this workshop thrived, attended the ceremony, as did M. Ayoub Jamali, Director General, PNCA. His constant support for artistic efforts and cultural development contributed significantly to the success of “A Calligraphic Journey.”
The Federal Minister was pleased with the workshop’s results, saying, “Witnessing the dedication and talent of these young calligraphers has been truly inspiring.” This program demonstrates our dedication to encouraging artistic expression and safeguarding our cultural legacy. Ms. Humaira Ahmed, the Federal Secretary, also spoke and praised the participants for their hard work. “The art of calligraphy is an important part of our cultural heritage.” This course not only improved the students’ skills, but it also helped to promote and preserve our rich cultural heritage.”
