ISLAMABAD: In accordance with its ongoing commitment to improving the technical capacity of Pakistan’s telecom industry, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) successfully organized a two-day workshop on ‘IPv6 Transition’ and ‘Routing Security’ in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), the Internet Society (ISOC), and the Pakistan Network Operators Group (PKNOG).
The program featured distinguished foreign speakers and enthusiastic participation from telecom industry specialists, demonstrating the group’s dedication to staying current with technological improvements.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman PTA, Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, stated that the PTA understands the importance of capacity building and is working closely with international players to build the telecom industry’s capability.
