South Waziristan: In Wana, Lower South Waziristan district, row erupts between police and Tires protesters escalated.

The police said that the protestors had blocked the Wana Azamwarsak Road for traffic, which caused severe problems to the common people.
Later, after dispersing the protesters, the road was opened for all kinds of traffic.
Meanwhile, under the leadership of General Secretary of Pakistan People’s Party South Waziristan Lower Imran Mukhalis, local political leaders took out a rally against the police.
The rally participants demanded the release of the arrested persons.
Ashfaq Wazir from Pakhtunkhwa MAP, District President of Jamaat-e-Islami Nadeem Wazir and Haroon Wazir from PTI and tires owners participated in the rally.

Political leaders strongly criticized the police misconduct, and demanded the provincial government to transfer all the SHOs of Wana to other remote Districts.
The rally participants said that the SHOs of other districts should be posted in Wana.

On the other hand, DPO Farmanullah said that an FIR will be registered against those who take the law into their hands.
