Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday asked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government to take a firm decision.
Speaking to the media outside the court complex in Islamabad, Abbasi said, “There is a failed government in front of the government.
Regarding the Iranian president’s visit to Pakistan, Abbasi said: “Iran is our neighboring country. We should further develop relations between the two countries.”
Earlier this month, Abbasi reportedly permanently parted ways with the PML-N, applying to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to register his new political party.
Abbasi himself visited the ECP headquarters in the provincial capital Islamabad and submitted information to the ECP for his party’s registration.
He said he submitted the necessary documents to the election regulator for registration.
