SAWAT: A peace march was organized by the locals of Ser Talegram and MalamJabba in the collaboration with the Matorizi Qami Jirga to condemn the recent attacks on the police check posts in the area. Hundreds of the people participated in the march, carrying placards and banners with slogans expressing solidarity with the police and advocating for peace.
The march began at the Talegram police poat and ended at the Talegram petrol pump. Speakers at the conclusion of the march, including Mukhtiar Yousafzai of Swat Qaumi Jirga, Adalat Khan of the Matorezi Qami Jirga, Naik Amal Khan of Talegram, Mian Sher Ali of Kishawra said that the people of Swat stand with the police and will not allow anyone to disrupt the peace in the region. They emphasized that they are willing to make any sacrifices to maintain peace and urged the authorities to empower the police by granting them more powers. They also called on the police to focus on their duties and resist pressure from powerful quarters.
