Islamabad: Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima reiterated the government’s commitment to achieve the vision of Digital Pakistan.
Speaking at the first digital national conference organized by the Global System for Mobile Communication Association, she explained the robust steps taken for digital transformation as per Prime Minister’s directives.8478
The minister said that digital technologies aim to digitize the economy, governance and society by bridging the digital divide between urban and rural areas.
The Minister of State informed the participants about the ongoing efforts to develop information technology in the country which resulted in a record increase in IT exports in the last financial year.
Shaza Fatima also highlighted the ongoing efforts to support digital innovation and the development of its infrastructure, which is a major priority of SIFC.
