Tragic Incidents Claim Five Lives in Swat: Murders and Accidental Death Reported

SWAT:  At least  Five-people, including Three-women, have died in various incidents in Swat district. police officials confirmed. Two women were killed, while the bodies of two persons, including the woman, were found in the Swat River and  a laborer died after being buried under the debris during work. According to the police, a divorced woman, Mst Kalsoom, who was visiting her maternal uncle in the Nawakaly area of Mingora, was shot and killed by her brother Usman when she refused to go home. He escaped after the incident. According to the police, the divorced woman of the two children,  The deceased, was divorced two-years ago and she had come from her parents’ house to stay with her maternal uncle. The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused Usman r/o Aghul Matta. The second alleged incident of murder has occurred in the Gohal r/o area of Tehsil Matta.  Mst. Aamira d/o Gul Rehman has allegedly been killed by hanging. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem. The girl’s father killed his close relatives Niaz Muhammad and his two sons Khayal Muhammad and Bakht Muhammad. The reason for the murder is said to be a dispute over making calls on a mobile phone. The police arrested the three accused and started further investigation. In addition, the bodies of two people, including a woman, were found from two different places in the Swat river in Khwazakhela tehsil. According to the SHO of Fatehpur police station Said Rehman, the body of a young woman whose name was later found to be Mst Rubina wife of Sardar Ali r/o Madyan was found in the river Swat at Fatehpur. As soon as he heard the news of the death, he jumped into the river. However, further investigation is going on in this regard. A young man’s body was also found at Shin’s place. Whose name is known as Mukhtiar Ali Sakna Madyan. The police have handed over the two bodies to the heirs after legal proceedings. Apart from this, while working in an under-construction building in the Madyan area, the laborer Khan Shah s/o Mian Dilfrosh was buried under the debris due to the collapse of the building and died.
