Lahore : Ms. Kristin K. Hawkins, Consul General of the United States in Lahore, has stated that Washington is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Punjab government in the education and commercial sectors.
During a meeting with Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, she stated that the United States intends to develop bilateral relations with the province through the Punjab and California sister state connection arrangement.

The meeting also covered issues of mutual interest and cooperation in a variety of fields.
Speaking on the occasion, the Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister stated that the provincial administration wishes to exploit US agricultural experience, particularly in wheat harvesting.
He highlighted his intention to collaborate with the United States in the education and housing sectors as well.
