LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has said from Adiala jail that the agenda is spreading in the country.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday, Bukhari said the PTI founder is likely to see a repeat of the 1971 situation in the country.
“Spreading unrest in the country is the party’s agenda. “Whenever there is unrest in the country, the name of the party comes up,” he said, adding that those who spoke of London’s agenda could remind themselves of their own agenda.
Bukhari said from jail that the PTI founder had written a poisonous article in an English newspaper.
Referring to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he said that a protest was held outside the IMF office after writing the letter.
The Information Minister said that the provincial ministry is impressed with the efforts of Punjab Governor Maryam Nawaz to reduce the price of rice per 100 kg, while also lowering the price of bread, gas cylinders, iron, cement, petrol and dollars.
