LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid have asked the court to take notice of the violence against the PTI party.
PTI leader Yasmin Rasheed wrote to reporters outside the anti-terror court demanding notice to the court against PTI’s injustice.
He said that democracy is being suppressed and people are being silenced.
He added that people’s love and support for Imran Khan will not be suppressed by tyranny and tyranny will destroy Pakistan.
The PTI leader hailed the determination and courage of the party leaders and said that there is no precedent in history for the oppression faced by the PTI workers.
Yasmin Rashid said that he had won the election held on February 8 and said that the people clearly showed that Imran Khan was the leader in the election.
The PTI leader said that Imran Khan is their leader and will stand behind him for real freedom.
He criticized the current government which was elected using fake Form-47 to deny dissent and democracy.
He said that every political party will face the consequences and pay the price for maintaining democracy.
Peaceful demonstration is the beauty of democracy and it should not be hindered, he said.
He criticized the government for the recently adopted budget and said that it forced the government to accept the budget dictated by the International Monetary Fund.
He also requested the government to restore the mandate of PTI which was stolen in the February 8 Election so that the legitimate government (PTI) can rule the country as the people did not accept Form 47.
