TALASH: Like the rest of the country, the 77th Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm in Talash organized by Helping Hand Dir Lower. A grand ceremony was held in Government Commerce College, Talash.In which the regional manager of Helping Hand Khyberpakhtukhwa Ameen-U -Allah, Assistant Commissioner Timergara Muhammad Tariq, District Program Officer Helping Hand Dir Lower Muhammad Shakeel, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Dir Lower Engineer Hafiz Yaqub-ur-Rahman, political and social figure Syed Muhammad Waris Jan, besides 200 disabled children, 100 orphans and more than 300 children and the poeple of the area. Ladies and gentlemen participated with children belonging to different schools of thought. Speaking on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day organized in Talash organized by Helping Hand Dir Lower, the speakers said that Alhamdulillah we are a free and independent country Pakistan.This free and independent country is due to the eternal sacrifices of our forefathers. Let us take a pledge today on the 77th Independence Day to protect, develop and succeed our dear motherland. They will fight hard and make the country Pakistan greater than the greatest in the region. During the Independence Day ceremony, disabled and orphaned children presented speeches, songs, poems and beautiful tableaus on the theme of Independence and received great appreciation from the audience and viewers. On the occasion of the event, wheelchairs and walkers were distributed among disabled people, while green crescent flags of Pakistan, badges, mufflers, ribbons, hair clips, caps, glasses, etc. were given to disabled and orphaned children on the occasion of Independence Day. After the excellent refreshments, under the Green Pakistan Campaign, with the support of the Forest Department, the guests inaugurated the plantation drive by planting saplings.
